Doll Clothes

I had a sick kid yesterday, so I couldn't work on what I wanted so I made some doll clothes.

Pj's from leftover fabric my son brought home from sewing class.

I then made a skirt. It has a tulle underskirt. Tulle is annoying to work with.

Here is a headband my 11 year old made with my supervision.

This is Pinterest #38. Here is the tutorial. Linking up to Amanda's.

The wall background came from here.

And we got the template for the banner here.

Here is the Front:

Here is the back:

Fun Fact: My son who was 11 at the time (he is now 12), helped pick out the fabric for this quilt. I had the truck print and was looking for colors to match.

Scrap Jar Quilt

I know I've shared this quilt before. It's the first quilt I've ever made. This one I made for my youngest daughter. I even machine quilted it myself.

Here is the back:

I originally made the scrappy strips to add to the front for a border, but my daughter didn't like that idea. So I added them to the back of the quilt.

I'm entering this into the Blogger's Quilt Festival Scrappy Quilts.
