I made these a few days ago and thought I would post them. They are from the quilting book my other one came from. There is one more, but I couldn't find it when I took this picture.

One more...
So I got a quilting book over 15 years ago, when I was working at Ben Franklin Crafts. And I tried to quilt, but my mom's old sewing machine would not work right. I dug it out the other day and pieced a square together....then turned it into a pillow..
Weston claimed this pillow before I was even finished with it. He even gave me a hug and a kiss. It's so nice to get hugs/kisses from the boys now that they are 10 and 11.
I think I'm going to have to piece a couple more of the quilt blocks together into pillows.

You guessed it.....
more pillows!!!
Here's what the girls have for pillows so far:
I went through the clearance bins at Wal-mart and found a bundle of white fabric for aroun $0.50. It said it was 1/4 of a yard of fabric. It ended up only being 9" wide. So I made a 3 8x8" pillows for the girls from scrap fabric.
I brought the kids and went shopping at Wal-mart for fiberfil and the boys finally decided on a color for there room, blue. So I let them each pick out a blue fabric in the clearance section. Then I whipped them up a pillow each last night.
While buying fabric for the boys, Syd convinced me to buy her some carebear fabric, so I sewed her pillow up this morning:
I'm sure you'll be seeing more pillows soon.

As promised....
more pillows....
These two pillows are stuffed with more of the body pillows. I have enough of the body pillow left to make at least 1 more pillow.
Went to walmart today to buy some stuffing for the little pillows I made and the boys talked me into making pillows for there room. So now I'll be making a bunch of blue pillows to go in there room. (They decided on a color to paint there room finally!)

Pillows, pillows, pillows....
So we are going to be decorating the kid's rooms and the girls have decided on purple.. the boys are still undecided. So I thought a bunch of small throw pillows would be cute for the girls.
So I took old body pillows...
Cut them up and made some cute pillows...
I got all three of these pillows from one body pillow (that I almost threw away).
Here are the girls enjoying there pillows (one is my neice, she came over while I was making them and claimed a pillow)
I have two more pillows made just need to get them stuffed. So I'm sure there will be more posts with pillows in them...

I finally scrapped another page...
I got my Sept/Oct issue of Creating Keepsakes the other day, and finally got motivated to scrap again. (I think this is my 4th page for this year). I seen the LO with Chevron on it, and directions on how to make it and had to try it.
And then I made a card using the same technique:
Maybe I'll get more pages done now that I've started again...
