Making embellishments

I have a goal this year to use up what I have for my scrapbooking, to bash my stash. I have bought a few things, stamps, and punches but I'm really working on not buying new papers and embellishments.

Here is a few embellishments I have made:

These were inspired by pins on pinterest so I'm counting them as project #44 and #45.

Wings and a doll quilt

I finally finished Block 2 Wings of the Splendid Sampler

This one has optional embroidery, but I'm going to have to do more research since I don't even know where to begin with embroidery.

I also got the 2nd doll quilt I had hid away for Christmas and then lost done.

I found it!!

I started this doll blanket for a Christmas present and had to hide it away when the kids came home from school. One of my daughters was into my stuff and she found the blanket that I hadn't been able to find! So now this one is done, the 2nd blanket I hid just needs the binding added and then that one will be done. Better late than never right?

Hearts a Flutter

Block 1 of the Splendid Sampler was released last night. Hearts a Flutter by Pat Sloan.

This was a fun block to make. It's a long wait til thursday and the next block comes out.

I made the bonus block for The Splendid Sampler.

Only 100 more blocks to go. First block gets released on Valentine's Day. I can't wait!
