I finished 2 more Splendid Sampler blocks. (These aren't the 2 I have in the works from the other day-must finish those!)

I should really get my Christmas sewing back out, but I can't seem to stop making these little blocks. Maybe next week I'll get it back out!

Splendid Sunday

I took a break from making Christmas gifts (my brother and his family were thinking of stopping over) and worked on The Splendid Sampler.

I ended up finishing 4 blocks with 2 more blocks almost done!!

Here is Block #24 Inspector Sidekick

Block #33 Selvage Saver . I don't have any selvages so I used strips of fabric.

Block #34 Lemonade . This one gave me the most trouble, I ripped it out at least 3 times.

Quilt

It has been a long time since I've blogged. The kids are back in school and it's just me and a very ACTIVE 2 year old at home. Here's my daughter Madyson's quilt that I blogged about quite a while ago.

I did all the quilting for this one on my home sewing machine!

I made the label with my embroidery machine. (I need to get this machine out more and practice!)

I used this pattern.

The fabric is from a layer cake I won from Happy Quilting quite a while ago. I added the gray to it.
