Firestarters

We always go camping right around our anniversary. So today I decided I better make some homemade firestarters to bring with.

These are easy to make, old candles, sawdust, and an empty egg carton.

We have a few ideas of where we want to go, but nothing is decided for sure. I'll guess we'll decide while we are driving.

New Bucket Hat

My youngest outgrew his bucket hat from last year, so I made him a bigger one. Red is his favorite color.The other side is a red print and he can reverse the hat and wear it with the red out.

Rainbow Stars Progress

I got all the stars made from my 6.5" blocks I made last year for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

Now to make all the chain blocks I need.

I got my 2nd set together for the Eye Spy Swap. There are 2 spots left if anyone is interested.

I got my first set of 10 done for the Eye Spy Swap. I signed up for 2 slots (I have 6 fabrics for the 2nd spot-need to find/buy 4 more).

My youngest drags this I spy quilt everywhere with him. He has requested a new one that is exactly the same but no ducks. I'll probably switch it up a little, maybe use all the same sized blocks this time...
