So Mady went to a friends and spent the night. So I got to play in my scrappy room. (Except Sydney came in there and cut up some papers!)

This was made with the following challenges in mind:

Moxie World wanted to see you use up your scraps. And all the papers (except the background is scraps)

Kaboodle Doodles had a "How cute is that?" challenge. And my baby in a tree is putting cute!

Jelly Park wanted to see Weather. And whats better than a beautiful spring day up in a tree.

Just Learned...

there was over 140,000 Girl Scouts at the MOA last weekend.

The Great Girl Gathering at the MOA

So we survived the Great Girl Gathering and 50,000 Girl Scouts. I heard on the news that The Great Girl Gathering rivaled Black Friday at the mall. It was insane! Here's a picture of the start of the Birthday Celebration on Saturday:

It was a crazy busy weekend. I discovered the kids would rather be out in the wood on a nature walk. We went to a Wildlife Refuge the last day and they had more fun out in the woods. But then we are from a small town.

Great Girl Gathering

As some of you know, I'm a Daisy Scout Leader for my daughters troop. This weekend there is a Great Girl Gathering at the MOA (Mall of America), and we are going. Girl Scouts turns 100 on Monday. I hope to post some highlights from our weekend on here sometime next week.

Snow!!

Went to bed with it snowing and opened the door this morning to this....

So today is the first snow day of the year. And the kids are off tomorrow since our school made it to the state wrestling tournament....

I've been busy with.....

Girl Scouts!

We are into cookie season. And being the Troop Leader it has been crazy. My daughter has sold over 140 boxes so far. About halfway to her goal of 300.

We also attended the Service Units (SU) World Thinking Day event. We chose Canada since we have penpals from there. Due to cancelling the last meeting. (Husband ended up in the hospital for a day.) We had a very simple display. Next year, it'll be better.

(Mady is the one on the left) It was our first year going to one of these so it was an experiance. Mady is already planning next years. And it's going to be better than ever!
I'm also getting ready to go to the Great Girl Gathering at the MOA. Me and Mady have been busy making SWAPS pins.
