I haven't scrapbooked for a couple weeks now, I've been sewing.. So while I had my sewing machine out, I switched the needle to an old one and made a couple Project life inserts:

Playing catch-up

I completed the first two blocks of The Splendid Sampler quilt along. And then started the 3rd block, thought I was doing good and it came out wrong size. So this week I took the block apart, measured and trimmed and got it!!

I wasn't too sure about Snug in a Bed since it's all embroidery, but I'm glad I did it, and I'll be doing more embroidery in the future.

I have a goal this year to use up what I have for my scrapbooking, to bash my stash. I have bought a few things, stamps, and punches but I'm really working on not buying new papers and embellishments.

These were inspired by pins on pinterest so I'm counting them as project #44 and #45.

Wings and a doll quilt

I finally finished Block 2 Wings of the Splendid Sampler

This one has optional embroidery, but I'm going to have to do more research since I don't even know where to begin with embroidery.

I also got the 2nd doll quilt I had hid away for Christmas and then lost done.

I found it!!

I started this doll blanket for a Christmas present and had to hide it away when the kids came home from school. One of my daughters was into my stuff and she found the blanket that I hadn't been able to find! So now this one is done, the 2nd blanket I hid just needs the binding added and then that one will be done. Better late than never right?
