Project Linus quilt

I turned my pile of scraps...

into a quilt top for Project Linus.

Now it goes to my Team Leader for quilting and binding.

It's been a while....

It's been awhile since my last post. I started a job! I haven't worked outside of the house in 9 years! I got a job at a local nursing home as a dietary assistant. After I get through training, I'll work an average of 30 hours every 2 weeks.

I did receive some scrap fabric from SBB Heart Builders, and I'm in the process of making a baby quilt top to be donated to project Linus.

I hope to have a quilt top to share with you soon.

Blue

The month of July at Rainbow Scrap Challenge, is Blue.

Here's my blue bin.

Here it is all dumped out.

I managed to make 4 blocks, before I had to pack it all back up again. I hope I can get it out again soon, but we'll see.

Piggy Bank Savings

I decided to join in with Val's Piggy Bank Savings.

Not sure how much I'll actually save, since I seem to take the coins and use them to get prints at the library!

I made a few more hearts this morning.

I found a quilted heart.

Today is my 16th Anniversary, and my husband has to work!

So I spent the morning, before the kids all got up, sewing quilted hearts.

Now I have to take the kids around to hide these. I found a quilted heart.

Another 2 weeks done!

I got 2 more PL layouts done for my 2016 album!!
