I completed #7 on myQ3 FAL list.

An Elephant themed quiet book.

Page #1 is the ABC's:

Page #2 is a lift the flap number page:

Page #3 is an I spy page:

Page #4 is clips:

Page #5 is zippers (a few of the zippers have images hiding under them):

Page #6 is a balloon matching page. The balloons are attached to the ribbon and velcro onto the matching balloon on the page.

String quilt plan

When I dumped out the Walmart bag, I came up with a plan. I've been slowly adding blocks and seeing my plan come to life.

August OMG

I started out so good at the beginning of the year with OMG (One Monthly Goal). I even won a prize for one month. But then I kept forgetting to post.

For this month, I want to get the back done to my son's super hero quilt. I'm piecing the back, in bigger sections than I did the front to use up more of the Super Hero Fabric.

More scraps and a plan

I sorted out the red scraps from the walmart bag full of scraps.

And the pink scraps

And made a plan for my strings.

How much fabric scraps can you stuff in a Walmart bag?

I had a very stuffed Walmart bag full of scraps in my room, so I decided to dump it out and get it sorted by color.

I got the orange cut into different sizes and sorted into by Orange box.

And the purple too!

Working on the red now. Not sure if I'll do much more after the red, we will have to see. I'm going to need to buy a new rotary blade soon.
