182 Day Solstice Challenge

I was trying to resist taking on this challenge. One of the big reasons is because I don't know what the finished quilt will look like. But after seeing all the quilt blocks on Pat Sloan's FB group. I joined in the Solstice Challenge.

Block #1 is a Churn Dash block.

Block #2 is the Day into Night block.

Block #3 Tide Pools block.

I'm also joining in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. This months color is purple. I really want to make a 6" rainbow sampler quilt. So next I'll be working on Purple 6 inch squares.

Linking to Em's Scrapbag, and Scraptastic Tuesday.

  1. The 182 day challenge blocks were quick and easy. I wonder if they will stay like that... Good to do them in purples...

    1. I struggled a little with the log cabin too. I measured after each piece was sewn on trying to keep it on track.

  5. Fun blocks. And it will be fun to have another RSC person and project to follow. Glad I'm not on facebook or it looks like I'd probably be distracted by Solstice too!
