An I spy finish

I completed an I spy quilt last week. Took pictures with my camera, but couldn't get the computer to read the camera card. So decided today I would just take pictures with my phone. I know these pictures aren't the best but here's the first completed I spy quilt.

The back is the Spiderman fabric I got on sale at Walmart.

This is number 11 on my FAL Q3 list. My 6th finish from my list!

Seeing Stars Quilt-Along - Curvy Star Block

I finished the blocks for this week. Not my favorite. The curves made them a little bit of a challenge.

For some reason I can't get my computer to read my camera card, so the recent pictures I've posted are work my phone, and it doesn't take good pictures.

Spiderman

I went shopping at Walmart for food, and found this fabric on clearance for $1.50/yard. I got 5 yards, which is more than enough to back another I spy quilt. My youngest decided he wants Spiderman to be the back of his quilt. So the other back I made with hulk, Ironman, and Captain America will go on the one to be gifted for Christmas.

3 Tops

Within the last month I've completed almost 3 Tops, the 2 I spy, and the one I need about 5 more inches for the border. I figured I better get quilting.

I bought some super heroes fabric on clearance at Walmart. I bought the rest of the bolt, but it wasn't quite enough to make the back for my son's I spy quilt. As soon as he seen it he got so excited. I did some piecing and now I have a back ready to be quilted.

Too Short

I'm already to put the borders on my husband's Christmas surprise and

I'm approximately 4" too short. I hope I can still find this fabric.

Seeing Stars Quilt Along

Over at Happy Quilting, Melissa is having a quilt along. While I was digging through my fabrics, I found these:

I spy 2

I finished the 2nd quilt top this morning.

I might have to wait a couple weeks to buy backing fabric to finish both quilts.
