2 hats

It's been a very rough Christmas. My FIL died suddenly just before Christmas. His funeral was held the day after Christmas. Emotional highs and lows all week. My 3 year old couldn't understand why everyone was sad and upset.

In between I did get 2 hats done. One for my 3 year old. And the other for a nephew due in March.

Christmas Tree skirt

I've been wanting to make a tree skirt for a while and I finally made one.

Arm Sling

Thanksgiving day I ended up taking the 3 year old to the hospital. Doctor didn't think anything was broken and was going to send us home. We insisted on an x-ray. He broke his collar bone. They sent us home with instructions to call Ortho on Monday. Took him in Monday and got sent home with the smallest sling they had. It fits my 13 year old. So this morning while everyone was still sleeping I made him a sling.

Yesterday I put together two Day in The Life's(DITL) spreads for my PL 2017 album. One is from January and one is from November.

Finally

I've missed sewing. Even though my hand is still in a splint for at least another week. I decided I was going to sew something.

I made a little I spy book for Harper.

I made one for my son, Branson, quite a while ago and he just loves playing I spy with it, or one of the quilts I've made.

Pink

This month the color at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge is pink.

I made some 6" finished pink blocks.

I than cut up all the odd pieces into usable sizes.

All organized in my pink box.

Trick or Treat

I got the three Trick or Treat bags done.

Ghost fabric with a spooky sayings band.

A witch and broom with a cat band.

And candy with a striped band. (I think this candy one will make it into an I spy jar quilt I want to make after I collect enough fabric for it.

These are finishes 7, 8, and 9 of my Q4 FAL list.

And the good news. I went to the Physical therapist about my finger and I have a little bit of swelling in my knuckle, I have to go back a couple times a week for 4 weeks. But he said it isn't arthritis or a couple of the things he had done would have had me in pain.

I have to wear this thing for a few hours today to get medicine down into my finger. I hope this fixes it.
