Trick or Treat

I got the three Trick or Treat bags done.

Ghost fabric with a spooky sayings band.

A witch and broom with a cat band.

And candy with a striped band. (I think this candy one will make it into an I spy jar quilt I want to make after I collect enough fabric for it.

These are finishes 7, 8, and 9 of my Q4 FAL list.

And the good news. I went to the Physical therapist about my finger and I have a little bit of swelling in my knuckle, I have to go back a couple times a week for 4 weeks. But he said it isn't arthritis or a couple of the things he had done would have had me in pain.

I have to wear this thing for a few hours today to get medicine down into my finger. I hope this fixes it.

A bag for mom

I finished the bag I wanted to make for my mom and gave it to her. She loved it.

I got the fabric with words on it from Hancock when they were going out of business. I bought the red, gray and white fabric from Missouri Star Quilt Company.

This is #6 on my FAL Q4 list.

This month for the Pink. But I didn't get around to sewing Orange which was last months color. And since my Orange box has less scraps in it than my pink, I decided to grab the orange box.

I ended up making 6, 6" blocks.

I than cut the smaller bits and pieces into different sized squares and bricks.

Here's my bin all sorted out.

Color book

I finally got the color book done! Took a little bit longer, I've been having issues with my hands-might be tendonitis, but then he asked if anybody had rheumatoid arthritis in the family... I have to start therapy sometime, they ache on and off if I do too much.

Anyways here's the color book.

#1 on my Q4 FAL list.

The start of a color book

I decided to make my niece a color book.

I dumped out the two walmart bags of scraps I had in my room, spent a while sorting them out by color and putting them in ziplock bags. And the last two days I've been sewing up pages.

Today I took out my embroidery machine and added the color words.

Now to decide on what to do for the cover and back and sew it all into a book.

2 Finishes!

This quilt I made for a niece that is expected in the middle of December.

This little mini quilt has been sitting in my UFO pile for a long time! I finally finished it.

This mini is #5 on my FAL-Q3 list, and it is also #5 on my American Patchwork and Quilting UFO list. .
