2 more weeks done.
Finally found some time to scrapbook and got 2 weeks done for my 2016 PL album.
For week 38, I took a piece of my youngest artwork that he made that week and cut it up to fit in the pockets.

Project Life Inserts
I've been busy organizing my craft room. I had one of my stamps fall behind my desk. So I had to empty off my desk and the dresser that holds paper to move them. All I found behind was my stamp and one card I had made. (I thought there would be a bunch of stuff behind!)
Yesterday, as part of my organizing I decided to get memorabilia put into my albums. I took out my sewing machine, put a needle that I have put aside for paper, and altered some PL albums.
I did lots all for my 2015-2017 PL albums. So with this I have officially started my 2017 PL album. Just need to get pictures added!

National Scrapbook Day
On Saturday May 6th, it was National Scrapbook Day. On one of my FB groups they had games and challenges all day. They had lots of prizes donated from different companies and members of the group.
One of the challenges was blooming buds, heres a flower I made.
For the birthday challenge I made 2 cards.
For the PL challenge I completed Week 35 from 2015.
The last challenge I completed was to use your scraps from previous challenges. Since all I used were scraps for my other challenges I didn't have very many scraps to play with. So I made a couple of Thank you cards.
I played a few of the games too.
I won 4 prizes!! I can't wait for them to get here.

Project Life Week 12 and 13!
I got two more weeks done!!
First up week 12, the week I hit a deer with while bringing my son to the hospital. My dad came and rescued us, brought us to the hospital for them to tell us it's just a virus. A couple days later brought him into clinic-double ear infection!
Week 13, this is the first time I used a Design E layout. (Week 14 is going to be on the flip side of this-just happened they both will fit this style!)

Project Life Week 10
One of the comments I got was if I ever share my Project Life (PL) on my blog. That made me realize, my blog has leaned towards sewing, quilting lately. When I first started this blog it was scrapbooking.
Here is my PL Week 10 layout I completed in September.
For this one I use artwork that my youngest son did in ECFE, (I'm trying to date all the kids artwork so I can include it when it was made/brought home). Since I don't keep all their artwork I thought I could cut his abstract painting up, use it as title, filler, journal cards for the week, and still have a piece of his artwork.
Maybe in the future I will take more photos of my layouts (different angles) to include in my blog.

Project life
In one of the Facebook groups I belong to it's all about using up your scrapbook stash and not buying more. I will probably buy some here and there but I do want to use up what I have. The first challenge in the group was to make some goals. I decided to include this in my 2016 Week 1 PL layout.

A gift...
My MIL was cleaning out her craft room and gave me a few goodies.
I love the stamps. Will work great for cardmaking and Project Life.
