Knitted baby sweater!

I got a card in the mail, a few days ago, from a friend announcing they just had a baby. I didn't even know she was pregnant. We were friends in elementary school, when she moved away and we've been writing on and off ever since. It's been at least 9 months since our last letters.. So after reading the letter I bought a skein of yarn and made this sweater for the new baby boy.

I just need to buy some buttons for the neck opening and then it will be on it's way to the new baby.

Barefoot Sandals!

I was surfing the internet and I seen barefoot sandals. So I found a pattern and modifyied it a bit to fit my girls feet (and neice). Here's what they came out like:

The girls just love these. They think they are TinkerBell and dancers.

I know I'm going to have make a couple more pairs for my other neices.

I've been published!

I finally got up enough guts to send in one of my LO's to Creating Keepsakes and I got published!!! The issue is on sale starting today.

It's been awhille...

It's been quite awhile since my last post. I'm finally done with Girl Scouts for the year. Today was the kids last day of school. I'm feeling like scrapping again (don't know how that is going to work now that the kids will be home all the time) We went on vacation to SD last week. We went for my neices graduation. We are hoping next year to make it to the Black Hills, and to Yellowstone. We'll see how the kids are in the car. Well gotta go-kids are wanting something....
