June-OMG Progress

My OMG for June is to finish another set of rag letters. I'm 10 away from being done!

OMG-June

Wow! It's been a long time since I last posted on here. Today I'm sharing my OMG for June.

I want to get these rag letters done and gifted to my little niece. My plan is to have them all done this week. I still have a few more to sew and bunch left to cut out.

February OMG

My February OMG was to finish a Penguin quilt for my 2 year old niece. I got it all quilted and gifted it to her. She loves it!

Temperature Quilt 2019

It's been a long time since I've made a blogpost!! I finished my Temperature quilt back in January and haven't shared it here yet.

The back: the flying geese is a color key-I used my embroidery machine and embroidered the temps each color represented onto it.

I'm thinking I should still make a label for this quilt though....

OMG-Penguins

I missed the January OMG link up by a day! My February OMG is to finish this penguin quilt for my niece. I have the top all made, just need to pick out backing fabric, quilt and bind it.

December OMG

My goal for December was to make progress on a penguin quilt.

I completed all 20 Penguin blocks.

I did it! I completed all 20 penguins! I have to get a memory bear made before I can continue with this quilt.

20 Penguin heads!!!

Between working extra days and going to kindergarten for an ornament party and going to a Christmas treat party.... I managed to get all 20 Penguin heads are done!!!

December OMG progress

I completed the strip piecing of the eyes.

And the 20 beaks. There is a 100 tiny pieces-5/beak!

It's been snowing all day. We are supposed to get between 8"-12" this weekend!

I finished this quilt top today.

November OMG

My November OMG, was to continue working on my temperature quilt. With the hopes of getting through October.

I did it. Here's January through October.

We woke up to our first snow accumulation of the winter.

Making progress

I decided it was time to dig out a UFO and get some progress made. I first started this quilt in January 2017 as part of the RSC. I didn't know what I was making the blocks for yet. I was just making 6.5" blocks in the months colors. In January 2018, as part of the RSC I started turning the 6.5" blocks into stars.

Just recently I started making the chains to so I could get the quilt top completed.

November OMG

My November goal is to continue working on my Temperature quilt. I hope to get through October.

October OMG

My October OMG was to make progress on my temperature quilt.

I got 7 months done!!

Butterflies and flowers quiet book

I completed this quiet book the same day I finished the dinosaur one.
